National cinema chain, Showcase Cinemas, has rolled out a new loyalty card design with the help of Plastic Card Services (PCS). Working in partnership with the leading plastic card manufacturer, Showcase Cinemas has developed an innovative, personalised design for its ‘Insider’ loyalty programme.
The new Insider card features a sleek black back and face design that has been created to reflect the exclusivity of the Showcase Cinemas loyalty programme. The updated cards are personalised with the member’s name and membership number, and for the first time, feature a unique QR code printed on the reverse, via which users can quickly and easily access show times at their nearest cinema.
“Our Insider programme has always been extremely popular with customers, but we wanted to refresh the cards to give them a more exclusive feel and make it easier for members to access information,” said Adam Day from National Amusements, which owns and operates Showcase Cinemas. “We’ve worked with PCS for around five years and have always been impressed with the team’s knowledge, flexibility and standards of service, so when we wanted to update our loyalty cards, it made sense to work with PCS.”
Adam added: “The team has brought our vision to life and the speed and efficiency of production has made developing our new cards a quick and simple process.”
Alongside handling the manufacture of Showcase Cinema’s Insider loyalty cards, PCS also produces the company’s welcome pack and manages the mailing of new cards direct to members.
Through the Insider loyalty programme, members receive a wide range of benefits, including discounted tickets, access to exclusive competitions and member-only advance screenings.
